Whether this is the first or the fourth year you are seeing your student work their way through a high school language arts class, it can always be a challenge to find ways to help your student succeed and grow as a learner. I look forward to working with you and your student throughout this year, and I fully believe in having open communication through every stage of the learning process.

I invite you to be a part of our class by asking your student about their reading, their writing, and their ideas and believes regarding all of the topics we study in class. These discussions will help your student to engage in the topics and build critical thinking skills along the way.
