Objective:
I can pull textual evidence to support my analysis of a text and write to explain how the stylistic choices made by the author highlight big ideas (RL 1, 2, & 4).
What’s Going On:
Throughout this unit we are balancing a variety of complex tasks: analyzing authors’ style, identifying how texts fit into specific genres, and considering what our unit texts have to say about our humanity.
Today you will write your first Essential write for the unit focusing on Kafka’s The Metamorphosis or Sohpocles’ Oedipus the King. Together we will overview this challenging task and read through an example.
The remaining time will be yours to write your response in the posted Google Classroom assignment.
