Objective:
I can determine two or more themes or central ideas of a text and analyze their development over the course of the text, including how they interact and build on one another to develop my own ideas around the two themes to determine my own beliefs (RL 2).
Entry Task:
As you come into class, prepare to play a round of Kahoot to review our vocabulary words from list 5 to prepare for our upcoming final vocabulary test.
What’s Going On:
Today we will finish reading Station Eleven. Complete the final plot-based questions, quote analysis, and the end reflection.
Exit Task:
After reading, we will brainstorm any final events to plot on our timeline. You will also be given a sticky note: use the sticky note to draw an image, symbol, or scene you find interesting, memorable, and important to the book as a whole, and include your name. Plot your sticky note on our class timeline.
Next class meeting, we will have our final reading test, so use any remaining time to get caught up as needed.
