19 January: Persepolis (126-142)

Objective:

I can explain how specific incidents impact and reveal aspects of characters, and describe how authors communicate this through text and images (RL/RI 3 & 5).


Entry Task:

As you come in, grab your notebook and a sheet off the front table. We will spend the first few minutes discussing the pros and cons of social media together before you have individual time for the second question and then the video questions.


What’s Going On:

After watching the video and discussing some of the questions, the rest of the day is yours to focus on Persepolis pages 126-142. Once you are done, turn your work into the bin.


Exit Task:

We will spend the last few minutes of class playing a round of Blooket with our unit vocabulary.
