26 January: Persepolis Film

I can write narratives to develop real experiences or events using effective techniques, relevant descriptive details, and well-structured event sequences (W 3). I can analyze multiple interpretations of a story evaluating how each version interprets the source text (RL 7).

Entry Task:

Please see me if you are still needing time to complete your personal narrative.

What’s Going On:

Today we will watch the film version of Persepolis. The film covers all of what we read in part one of the story and part two, which we did not read in class. Complete your viewing questions as you watch.

Exit Task:

We may find a good pausing point for the film today and finish it tomorrow as needed. Keep your film questions in your notebook to return to tomorrow.
