Objective:

I can determine two or more themes or central ideas of a text and analyze their development over the course of the text and have a thoughtful class discussion regarding events in the book and their significance (RL 2 & SL 1).

Entry Task:

As you come into class, grab your notebook, a sheet, and prepare to play a round of Kahoot to review our vocabulary words from list 1 to prepare for our upcoming final vocabulary test.

What’s Going On:

Today we will continue reading Station Eleven. As we read, you will have guided reading questions to help you keep track of the plot and the characters. Remember: my expectation is that you do not have your phone out at any point during our reading; read along with your copy of the book as we are listening.

Exit Task:

After reading, we will have a short class discussion focusing on the Air Gradia Jet using the questions on your sheet. Once we are done, turn your work into the bin.
