As you come into class, grab your binder and a Vocabulary List 5 from the front table. We will overview this list using this presentation.
What’s Going On:
Today we overview some of your peers’ work with our unit texts. As we go over these examples, determine what each example would earn on the CCC rubric.
After looking over student writing strengths, we will overview your unit final. Grab a sheet off the front table, and I will be passing back all of the writing you have completed throughout this unit. Skim through your writing and the rubric scores and feedback I have left for you. Complete the Reviewing Your Writing section on your packet. Follow along as I go over the prompt, the rubric, and some suggestions on how you organize your writing. The remaining time is yours to begin your writing assessment. You will be polishing your work by typing it in the posted Google Classroom assignment. Today’s focus should be on selecting your unit texts and developing your introduction.
Find a good pausing point and spend some time cleaning up around you.
