I can identify various poetic devices within many poems, and I can begin to use technology to create an in-depth research project inspired by poetry (L 5, W 7 & 9).
What’s Going On:
Today is yours to continue your work on your Poetry Research Journey. Your focus today should be finalizing your Formalist readings for your two poems. This includes identifying poetic devices in the poems and writing your Formalist Response (slides 1-4).
Next class meeting, we will move on to the research portion, starting with a focus on MLA citation.
Find a good pausing point for the day and use your Project Planner to record your progress. Show this to me for today’s participation points and then clean up around you.
