9 January: Persepolis (3-17)


I can explain how an author uses words and images together to develop the reader’s understanding of significant characters and events (RI/RL 3 & 5).

Entry Task:

As you come into class, we will play a short round of Blooket to focus on our unit vocabulary.

What’s Going On:

Today, we will begin reading Persepolis! Today we will focus on pages 3-17. Together, we will overview the expectations of the reading packets, and then you will read independently. Once you are done, keep your work in your notebook for now.

Use any remaining time to check Skyward for missing or redo work.
